Notes the programme budget of the Institute for the biennium 1988-1989 approved by the Board of Trustees at its 8th session; recommends that the Institute continue to co-operate with the organizations of the UN system in the implementation of its programmes and possibly implement research and training projects within its area of competence funded by UNDP; renews its appeal to Governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and other potential donors to contribute to the Trust Fund for the Institute.
