Summary
Requests the Secretary-General to establish by the end of 1989 a fully revised internal justice system as proposed in his report pursuant to recommendation 60 of the Group of High-level Intergovernmental Experts to Review the Efficiency of the Administrative and Financial Functioning of the UN and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its 44th session; calls upon the Secretary-General to finish putting into place improved disciplinary rules and procedures at the earliest stage, as well as revised appellate procedures, in accordance with paragraphs 18 and 19 of his report, and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its 44th session.
