Summary
Requests the Secretary-General to examine, in consultation with Governments, the existing mechanisms for communications on the status of women, in order to ensure that such communications receive effective and appropriately co-ordinated consideration in view of their role in the work on the elimination of discrimination against women carried out by the Commission on the Status of Women and to report thereon to the Commission at its 35th session.
