Reaffirms the inalienable right of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands to self-determination and independence; urges the administering Power to take effective measures to safeguard and guarantee the inalienable right of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands to own and dispose of the natural resources of the Territory and, in consultation with the territorial Government, to provide the necessary assistance for the localization of the civil service at all levels and for the training of local personnel; calls upon the administering Power to take all necessary measures, in co-operation with the territorial Government, to counter problems related to drug trafficking.
