Invites Member States, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to strengthen their efforts, as appropriate, in the implementation of the Plan of Action for the World Decade for Cultural Development; requests the Secretary-General, in co-operation with the Director-General of Unesco, to take the measures necessary to reinforce the coordination of the activities undertaken by the organizations of the UN system in support of the Decade through the Administrative Committee on Coordination; such measures might include the establishment of a steering Committee, if appropriate.
