Reports that the Government of Cuba recognized South Sudan as a sovereign and independent State on 10 July 2011, and that diplomatic relations were established between the 2 countries, in Juba, on the same date; transmits a copy of the note verbale sent in that regard by the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Cuba to the Ministry of Foreign Relations of South Sudan.
