Decides that the distribution of the 7 seats allocated to the Economic and Social Council on the Organizational Committee of the Peacebuilding Commission shall be as follows: 1 seat for each of the 5 regional groups, namely, African States, Asian States, Eastern European States, Latin American and Caribbean States and Western European and other States; in the election of members of the Economic and Social Council to the Organizational Committee whose term of office shall start on 1 Jan. 2011, the 2 remaining seats shall be allocated to the regional group of African States; also decides that the established practice of the Economic and Social Council regarding members elected to its subsidiary bodies who are not able to complete their term of office shall apply to members elected to the Organizational Committee by the Council.
