Requests the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime to ensure the sustainability of the Strategic Planning Unit, consistent with the importance of its functions; urges the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime to ensure that the Office submits to the Secretary-General a proposed programme budget for the biennium 2012-2013 that appropriately reflects the financial needs of the Office; requests the Secretary-General to devote due attention to the resource requirements for meeting the mandates entrusted to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
