Resúmen
Welcomes the reaffirmation by Governments of their will and commitment to continue implementing the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and the Programme of Action; stresses that an enabling environment is a critical precondition for achieving equity and social development; also stresses that stability in global financial systems and corporate social responsibility and accountability; also stresses that stability in global financial systems and corporate social responsibility and accountability; requests the UN funds, programmes and agencies and invites financial institutions to support efforts to mainstream the goals of full and productive employment and decent work for all in their policies, programmes and activities; urges Governments, with the cooperation of relevant entities, to develop systems of social protection; requests the UN system to support national efforts to achieve social development; reaffirms the commitments made in respect of "Meeting the special needs of Africa" at the 2005 World Summit; urges developed countries that have not yet done so in accordance with their commitments to make concrete efforts towards meeting the targets of 0.7 per cent of their gross national product for official development assistance to developing countries and 0.15 to 0.2 per cent of their gross national product to least developed countries; underlines the responsibility of the private sector; stresses the importance of promoting corporate social responsibility and accountability.
