Welcomes the offer of the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to host the 1st Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on Cluster Munitions following its entry into force; requests the Secretary-General, in accordance with art. 11, para. 2, of the Convention, to undertake the preparations necessary to convene the 1st Meeting of States Parties to the Convention following its entry into force.
