Financing of the United Nations Logistics Base at Brindisi, Italy : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Approves the cost estimates for the United Nations Logistics Base amounting to US $57,954,100 for the period from 1 July 2009-June 2010; decides that the requirements for the United Nations Logistics Base for the period from 1 July 2009-30 June 2010 shall be financed as follows: (a) The unencumbered balance and other income in the total amount of $3,209,800 in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2008 to be applied against the resources required for the period from 1 July 2009-30 June 2010; (b) The balance of $54,744,300 to be prorated among the budgets of the active peacekeeping operations for the period from 1 July 2009-30 June 2010; (c) The estimated staff assessment income of $5,404,400, comprising the amount of $5,093,900 for the period from 1 July 2009-30 June 2010 and the increase of $310,500 in respect of the period from 1 July 2007-30 June 2008, to be offset against the balance referred to in subparagraph (b) above, to be prorated among the budgets of the individual active peacekeeping operations.
