Decides to establish 1 Legal Affairs Officer position (P-4), 1 Senior Security Sector Reform Officer position (P-5) and 1 Human Rights Officer position (P-4); approves the revised budget for the United Nations Political Office for Somalia for 2009 of US$16,178,500 gross; decides to appropriate, after taking into account the unencumbered balance of $6,641,400, an amount of $8,620,900 under section 3, Political affairs, of the programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009; decides to appropriate $916,200 under section 35, Staff assessment, to be offset by a corresponding amount under income section 1, Income from staff assessment, of the programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009.
