Summary
Welcomes all efforts by the administering Power that would devolve operational responsibilities to the territorial Government, with a view to expanding self-government; requests the administering Power to assist the Territory by facilitating its work concerning public outreach efforts, consistent with Article 73 b of the Charter of the UN and, in that regard, calls upon the relevant UN organizations to provide assistance to the Territory, if requested; also requests the administering Power to continue its assistance for the improvement of the economic, social, educational and other conditions of the population of the Territory and to continue its discussions with the territorial Government on how best to support economic security in Pitcairn.
