Requests that the President of the General Assembly entrust the President of the High-level Committee on South-South Cooperation with undertaking, while making use of the existing coordination mechanisms of the UN system, the necessary consultations with Member States in order to prepare for the proposed High-level UN Conference on South-South Cooperation, with a view to the Assembly taking a decision, during its 63rd session, on the nature, date, budgetary implications, objectives and modalities of the Conference.
