Noting that the Convention will be opened for signature at Oslo on 3 Dec. 2008, and will remain open for signature thereafter at UN Headquarters in New York until its entry into force; requests the Secretary-General to render the necessary assistance and to provide such services as may be necessary to fulfil the tasks entrusted to him by the Convention on Cluster Munitions.
