Takes note of the report of the Committee for Development Policy on its 10th session; requests the Committee, at its 11th session, to examine and make recommendations on the themes chosen by the Economic and Social Council for the high-level segment of its substantive session of 2009; takes note of the proposals made by the Committee regarding its future work programme, in particular regarding the monitoring of the development progress of Cape Verde; requests the Committee to monitor the development progress of countries graduating from the list of least developed countries.
