Cooperation between the United Nations and the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Urges the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean to continue deepening its coordination and mutual support activities with the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System; urges the specialized agencies and other organizations, funds and programmes of the UN system to continue and intensify their support for and to strengthen their cooperation with activities of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System and to contribute to joint actions to achieve the internationally agreed development objectives, including those contained in the UN Millennium Declaration, in Latin America and the Caribbean; requests the Secretary-General of the UN and the Permanent Secretary of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System to assess, at the appropriate time, the implementation of the Agreement between UN and the Latin American Economic System and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its 65th sess.
