Financing of the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Decides to establish 2 posts for the Conduct and Discipline Team and 2 positions to be funded from general temporary assistance; approves the utilization of general temporary assistance equivalent to 1 P-4 for the establishment of a Best Practices Officer position, pending consideration of the report requested in section V, paragraph 2, of its resolution 61/276; decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the UN Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad the amount of US$1,114,100 for the period from 1 Mar.-30 June 2007; decides to apportion among Member States the amount of $1,114,100 for the period from 1 Mar.-June 2007 and taking into account the scale of assessments for 2007; decides that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of $10,100; decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the Mission the amount of $182,444,000 for the establishment and maintenance of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2007-30 June 2008; decides to apportion among Member States the amount of $182,444,000 for the period from 1 July 2007-June 2008 and taking into account the scale of assessments for 2007 and 2008; decides that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of $2,537,000; decides to keep under review during its 62nd sess. the item entitled "Financing of the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad".
