Condemns all forms of intolerance and of discrimination based on religion or belief, as well as violations of freedom of thought, conscience, religion or belief; condemns any advocacy of religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence, whether it involves the use of print, audio visual and electronic media or any other means; urges States to step up their efforts to eliminate intolerance and discrimination based on religion or belief; emphasizes the importance of a continued and strengthened dialogue among and within religions or beliefs; also emphasizes that equating any religion with terrorism should be avoided; welcomes the work and the report of the Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief.
