Summary
Demands that Israel comply fully with the provisions of the 4th Geneva Convention of 1949; condemns all acts of violence; expresses grave concern at the firing of rockets against Israeli civilian areas resulting in loss of life and injury; demands that Israel cease all practices and actions that violate the human rights of the Palestinian people, including the extrajudicial executions; calls upon Israel to release all remaining tax revenues due to the Palestinian Authority; acknowledges the role the Temporary International Mechanism has played in assisting the Palestinian people directly; urges Member States to continue to provide emergency assistance to the Palestinian people; emphasizes the need to preserve the Palestinian institutions and infrastructure; demands that Israel comply with its legal obligations under international law; stresses the need for respect for the unity and territorial contiguity and integrity of all of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and for guarantees of the freedom of movement of persons and goods within the Palestinian territory.
