Résumé
Strongly urges all States to take measures to ensure the safety and security of humanitarian personnel; calls upon all Governments and parties to ensure the safe and unhindered access of humanitarian personnel and delivery of supplies and equipment; calls upon all States to consider becoming parties to and to respect fully their obligations under the relevant international instruments; strongly condemns all threats and acts of violence against humanitarian personnel and UN and associated personnel; requests the Secretary-General to ensure full respect for the human rights, privileges and immunities of UN and other personnel; stresses the importance of ensuring that humanitarian personnel remain sensitive to national and local customs and traditions; emphasizes to pay special attention to the safety and security of UN and associated personnel engaged in UN peacekeeping and peacebuilding operations; emphasizes to pay particular attention to the safety and security of locally recruited humanitarian personnel; emphasizes the importance of information on the range and scope of security incidents; recalls the role of telecommunication resources in facilitating the safety of humanitarian personnel and UN and associated personnel.
