Security Council resolution 1783 (2007) [on extension of the mandate of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO)]

Calls upon the parties to enter into negotiations without preconditions in good faith; requests the Secretary-General to provide a report by 31 Jan. 2008 on the status and progress of these negotiations and a report on the situation in Western Sahara before the end of the mandate period; decides to extend the mandate of MINURSO until 30 Apr. 2008; requests the Secretary-General to continue to take the necessary measures to ensure full compliance in MINURSO with UN zero-tolerance policy on sexual exploitation and abuse.
