Approves the strategy for the period 2008-2011 for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; requests the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to incorporate the strategy for the period 2008-2011 in the strategic framework and to present the latter to the relevant intergovernmental bodies, for their consideration and approval; stresses that all action aimed at implementing the strategy, shall be undertaken in full consultation with and at the request of the Member States concerned; requests the Executive Director to prepare the consolidated budget for the biennium 2008-2009, as well as for the biennium 2010-2011, for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; requests the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to submit to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its reconvened 16th session a report identifying the medium-term strategy activities projected for the period 2008-2009 and the estimated cost of implementing them, to report to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice on progress made in the implementation of the strategy for the period 2008-2011 for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
