Financing of the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the UN Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste the amount of US$160,589,900 for the period from 1 July 2007-30 June 2008, inclusive of $153,159,800 for the maintenance of the Mission, $6,390,300 for the support account for peacekeeping operations and $1,039,800 for the UN Logistics Base; also decides to apportion among Member States the amount of $105,675,538 for the period from 1 July 200-26 Feb. 2008, in accordance with the levels updated in General Assembly resolution 61/243 of 22 Dec. 2006, and taking into account the scale of assessments for 2007 and 2008, as set out in its resolution 61/237 of 22 Dec. 2006; further decides that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States, as provided for in paragraph 16 above, their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of $4,456,419, comprising the estimated staff assessment income of $3,981,902 approved for the Mission, the prorated share of $428,059 of the estimated staff assessment income approved for the support account and the prorated share of $46,458 of the estimated staff assessment income approved for the UN Logistics Base; decides to apportion among Member States the amount of $54,914,362 for the period from 27 Febr.-30 June 2008 at a monthly rate of $13,382,492.
