Follow-up to the International Conference on Financing for Development

Takes note of the summary by the President of the Economic and Social Council of the special high-level meeting of the Council with the Bretton Woods institutions, the World Trade Organization and the UN Conference on Trade and Development, held in New York on 24 Apr. 2006, and of the note by the Secretary-General on coherence, coordination and cooperation in the context of the implementation of the Monterrey Consensus and the 2005 World Summit Outcome, prepared in collaboration with the major institutional stakeholders and other relevant organizations of the UN system.
