Summary
Reiterates its determination that actions taken by Israel to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the Holy City of Jerusalem is illegal and therefore null and void and has no validity whatsoever; welcomes the decision by those States that had established diplomatic missions in Jerusalem to withdraw their missions from the city, in compliance with Council resolution 478 (1980); stresses that a comprehensive, just and lasting solution should take into account the legitimate concerns of Palestinians and Israelis and should include internationally guaranteed provisions to ensure freedom of religion and free access to holy places.
