Financing of the United Nations Logistics Base in Brindisi : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Approves the cost estimates for the UN Logistics Base amount to US$35,478,700 for the period 1 July 2006-30 June 2007; decides that the requirements for the UN Logistics Base for the period 1 July 2006-30 June 2007 shall be financed as follows: (a) the unencumbered balance and other income in the total amount of $1,399,200 in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2005 to be applied against the resources required for the period 1 July 2006-30 June 2007; (b) the balance of $34,079,500 to be prorated among the budgets of the active peacekeeping operations for the period 1 July 2006-30 June 2007; (c) the net estimated staff assessment income of $2,579,300, comprising the amount of $2,535,200 for the period 1 July 2006-30 June 2007 and the increase of $44,100 in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2005, to be set off against the balance referred to in subparagraph (b) above, to be prorated among the budgets of the individual active peacekeeping operations.
