Résumé
Notes with interest the establishment of the World Committee on Tourism Ethics as adopted by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in 2001; notes the approval by the World Committee on Tourism Ethics of the Procedures for Consultation and Conciliation for the Settlement of Disputes concerning the Application of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism; reiterates the invitation to Member States and other stakeholders to consider introducing the contents of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism in their relevant laws, regulations and professional practices; invites Member States and other stakeholders to give support to the activities undertaken by the World Tourism Organization in favour of sustainable tourism in developing countries for the eradication of poverty; requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its 65th session on the developments related to the implementation of the present resolution on the basis of the reports of the World Tourism Organization.
