Résumé
Welcomes with great satisfaction the formation of the transitional federal institutions and their relocation to Somalia; urges the Somali leaders to make every effort to create conditions to help to increase the effectiveness of humanitarian assistance by improving the security situation on the ground; urges donor countries and regional and subregional organizations to continue to contribute to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Somalia; urges the Somali parties to respect the security and safety of the personnel of the UN; calls upon the international community to provide humanitarian assistance and relief to the transitional federal institutions and the Somali people to alleviate in particular the consequences of the civil war and the prevailing drought.
