Summary
Welcomes the initiative of Qatar to host a UN human rights training and documentation centre for South-West Asia and the Arab region, under the supervision of the Office of the High Commissioner; requests the Secretary-General and the Office of the High Commissioner to give their support to the establishment of the centre, to conclude an agreement with the host country and to make available resources for the establishment of the centre; requests the Secretary-General to submit a report to the General Assembly at its 61st session on the implementation of the present resolution.
