Summary
Authorizes the Secretary-General to utilize until 30 June 2006 general temporary assistance for the functions provided by the 395 individual contractors; decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the UN Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo the amount of US$1,133,672,200 for the maintenance of the Mission for the period 1 July 2005-30 June 2006; emphasizes that no peacekeeping mission shall be financed by borrowing funds from other active peacekeeping missions; encourages the Secretary-General to continue to take additional measures to ensure the safety of all personnel under the auspices of the UN participating in the Mission.
