Transmits the 2nd report of the UN International Independent Investigation Commission in Lebanon (UNIIIC), prepared pursuant to Security Council resolutions 1595 (2005) and 1636 (2005) on the bombing in Beirut on 14 Feb. 2005 that killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 22 others; reports that Detlev Mehlis, the Commissioner of UNIIIC and Fouad Siniora, President of the Council of Ministers of Lebanon, request extension of the mandate of the Commission for a period of 6 months to enable the investigation to continue in accordance with para. 8 of resolution 1595 (2005).
