Report of the United Nations Forum on Forests on its 5th session and provisional agenda for its 6th session

Decides to hold the 6th session of the Forum from 13 to 24 Feb. 2006 in New York; also decides that the Forum, at its 6th session, should consider on the venue and dates of its 7th session; further decides that the Forum, at its 6th session, should ensure the opportunity to receive and consider inputs from representatives of major groups as identified in Agenda 21, and in this regard that the Bureau should provide the opportunity for the major groups as a priority to hold side events during the 6th session of the Forum to permit them to present their points of view on the issues to be addressed during the session; approves the provisional agenda for the 6th session of the Forum.
