Summary
Urges Member States that have not done so to consider signing and ratifying the UN Convention against Corruption as soon as possible; also urges Member States to promote a culture of integrity and accountability in both the public and private sectors; requests the Secretary-General to provide the UN Office on Drugs and Crime with the resources necessary to enable it to promote the entry into force and implementation of the Convention; also requests the Secretary-General to finalize the legislative guide for the Convention and to consider preparing manuals and other tools to facilitate implementation of the Convention; further requests the Secretary-General to report to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its 15th session on the implementation of the present resolution.
