Concerns the issues of Taiwan's representation in the UN and peace in the Taiwan Straits raised by some Member States in the general debate of the 60th sess. of the General Assembly and states that the Government of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China and that Taiwan is an inseparable part of China; refers to General Assembly resolution 2758 (XXVI) which has resolved the issue of China's representation in the UN; states further that the Chinese Government has been consistently engaged in maintaining peace and stability of the Taiwan Straits and achieving peaceful reunification of China.
