Summary
Invites the States Members of UN and UN organs, organizations and agencies which have not yet established contact or relations with the Economic Community of Central African States to consider doing so in order to help the Community to strengthen its capacities in the area of the maintenance of peace and security and reconstruction; emphasizes the importance of close cooperation between the UN system, including the Bretton Woods institutions, and the Economic Community of Central African States; declares itself convinced of the importance to conflict resolution of the implementation of global, integrated and concerted strategies on questions relating to peace, security and development; requests the Secretary-General to continue to enhance contacts with the Economic Community of Central African States with a view to strengthening cooperation between the UN system and the Community.
