Summary
Deals with the effect of corruption on those institutions necessary to sustain democracy, such as political parties and parliaments; highlights the problem posed by party corruption, especially in developing countries and countries in transition; focuses on the effects of corruption on procurement in the public sector as well as in international organizations, and of capital flight suffered in particular by developing countries as a result of corruption.
