Outlines a proposed agenda of reforms to be taken up, and acted upon by world leaders at the upcoming Summit in New York to review progress made since the UN Millennium Declaration adopted by Member States in 2000; presents recommendations to: a) reduce poverty and promote global prosperity for all, b) provide effective collective security by pledging concerted action against the whole range of threats to international peace and secuirty, c) support the rule of law, human rights and democracy and d) strengthening the United Nations to make it a more effective and efficient instrument for forging a united response to shared threats and shared needs.
