Summary
Urges all States, in the implementation of agreements reached with the UN regarding peace-keeping arrangements, further to strengthen co-operation with the Secretary-General in the discharge of his functions deriving from the Charter of the UN as well as from the mandates and decisions of the Security Council and the General Assembly; affirms that the adoption and implementation of confidence- and security-building measures, taking into account the Charter and the specificity of each particular region, would contribute to the strengthening of regional as well as international peace and security.
