Provides information on compliance and progress in ending the recruitment and use of children and other violations being committed against children; the action plan for the establishment of a monitoring, reporting and compliance mechanism; incorporation of best practices in disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programmes for children; and measures to control illicit subregional and cross-border activities harmful to children. Contains annexes on 1) list of parties that recruit or use children in situations of armed conflict on the agenda of the Security Council, bearing in mind other violations and abuses committed against children; and 2) list of parties that recruit or use children either in situations of armed conflict not on the agenda of the Security Council or in other situations of concern, also bearing in mind other violations and abuses committed against children.
