Concerns deteriorating situation in Darfur and reiterates strong support for the previous Security Council resolutions passed on Darfur; suggests a number of proposals that include the establishment of a committee to monitor the arms embargo, the designing of other new measures and an assessment of compliance, by the parties, with the obligations outlined in resolutions 1556, 1564 and 1574 (2004).
