Provides an update on the situation in Abkhazia, Georgia, since the last report of 18 Oct. 2004 (S/2004/822). Reports on the political process, operational activities of the UN Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG), civilian police, the cooperation with the collective peacekeeping force of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and human rights and humanitarian situation. Includes a table of countries providing military observers and civilian police personnel to UNOMIG as at 1 Oct. 2004, as well as a map on UNOMIG deployment as at Jan. 2005. DAA
