Summary
Reaffirms the value of multilateralism to the global trading system, and that all countries have a shared interest in the success of the Doha work programme; looks forward to the early development of the frameworks outlined in the decision of 1 Aug. 2004 of the General Council of the World Trade Organization; reaffirms the importance of market access, and the full implementation of the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing of the World Trade Organization; expresses its concern about the adoption of a number of unilateral actions that are not consistent with the rules of the World Trade Organization, harm the exports of all countries; reiterates the importance of supporting the programmes and technical cooperation and capacity-building activities of the UN Conference on Trade and Development; requests the Secretary-General, in collaboration with the secretariat of the UN Conference on Trade and Development, to report to the General Assembly at its 60th session on the implementation of the present resolution.
