Co-operation between the United Nations and the Organization of the Islamic Conference : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Requests the UN and the Organization of the Islamic Conference to continue co-operation in their common search for solutions to global problems, such as questions relating to international peace and security, disarmament, self-determination, decolonization, fundamental human rights and the establishment of a new international economic order; invites the specialized agencies and other organizations of the UN to multiply the contacts and meetings of focal points for co-operation in priority areas of interest to the UN and the Organization of the Islamic Conference; recommends that a co-ordination meeting of the focal points of the lead agencies of the UN and the Organization of the Islamic Conference should be organized during 1989 at a time and place to be determined through consultations with the organizations concerned.
