Transmits the midterm report of the Panel of Experts re-established pursuant to Security Council resolution 1549 (2004) concerning Liberia. Reviews the basis for the sanctions regime and security situation in Liberia, and provides the interim assessment on diamonds and timber. States that the Panel will also present, by 10 Dec. 2004, a final report covering the entire sanctions regime, including the arms embargo, the travel ban, the assets freeze, and the humanitarian and socio-economic impact of the sanctions.
