Transmits special report of the UN Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the events in Ituri during the period Jan. 2002-Dec. 2003. Concerns continuing human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in particular the impunity with regard to crimes committed against the citizens, and states that impunity must be brought to an end, and perpetrators of crimes brought to justice. Also includes i) list of armed and political groups involved in the Ituri conflict; ii) chronology of main political events and incidents of gross violations of human rights in Ituri, 1998-2003; iii) map on Ituri district; iv) map showing Collectivités of Djugu and Irumu territories; and v) map showing main military camps where children were trained or present.
