Summary
Authorizes the Secretary-General to establish a special account for the UN Operation in Burundi for the purpose of accounting for the income received and expenditure incurred in respect of the Operation; decides to apportion among Member States the total amount of US$156,043,900, comprising the amount of $49,709,300 for the period 21 Apr.-30 June 2004 and the amount of $106,334,600 for the period 1 July-31 Oct. 2004; decides also that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of $149,400; encourages the Secretary-General to continue to take additional measures to ensure the safety and security of all personnel under the auspices of the UN participating in the Operation; invites voluntary contributions to the Operation in cash and in the form of services and supplies acceptable to the Secretary-General.
