Approves the cost estimates for the UN Logistics Base at Brindisi amounting to US$28,422,000 for the period 1 July 2004-30 June 2005; decides to apply the balance of other income and adjustments in the total amount of $3,173,700 in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2003 to the resources required for the period 1 July 2004-30 June 2005; also decides that the increase of $9,900 in the estimated staff assessment income in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2003 shall be added to the credits from the amount referred to in paragraph 12 above; further decides to prorate the balance of $25,248,300 among the individual active peacekeeping operation budgets to meet the financing requirements of the UN Logistics Base at Brindisi for the period 1 July 2004-30 June 2005; decides to set off against the balance referred to in paragraph 14 above the estimated staff assessment income of $1,412,500 for the period 1 July 2004-30 June 2005, representing the difference between the estimated staff assessment income of $1,560,600 for the period 1 July 2004-30 June 2005 and the adjustment in the staff assessment income of $148,100 related to the period ended 30 June 2001, to be prorated among the individual active peacekeeping operation budgets; also decides to consider at its 59th session the question of the financing of the UN Logistics Base at Brindisi.
