Summary
Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its 59th session a comprehensive report on the use, including the conversion, of 300 series contracts; decides to suspend the application of the 4-year maximum limit for appointments of limited duration under the 300 series of the staff rules in peacekeeping operations, until 31 Dec. 2004, pending a decision by the General Assembly on this matter at its 59th session.
