Summary
DAA Provides an update on developments in the peace process since the previous report of 19 Dec. 2003 (S/2003/1186) and describes the deployment and activities of the UN Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE), whose current mandate expires on 15 Mar. 2004. Reports on the work and activities of the Special Envoy for Ethiopia and Eritrea; the status of the Temporary Security Zone and adjacent areas; Boundary Commission; mine action; humanitarian and human rights developments; public information; and financial aspects. Included annexes are: i) the 12th report on the work of the Boundary Commission covering the period 1 Dec. 2003-26 Feb. 2004; and ii) a table showing contributions to the UNMEE as at 27 Feb. 2004.
